In Nilaveli we successfully managed to achieve the sewing program "Opportunities for Women." Because of this program, women who have graduated from the sewing school, got a sewing machine provided through microcredit, and so they could start their own sewing workshop. The enthusiasm of the graduated women who started their own business was contagious for other women in their environment. Therefore it was decided to set up courses, especially for women, where they can learn make-up and bride styling. Also in Sampalthivu a new sewing training started.
