Already in 2017, the need was seen to tackle the pre-school in Mulankavil. The conditions under which children were taught were appalling. In April 2019, the first stone was laid by the chairman of the Havonos Foundation, Sieni Schouten.
After the first stone was laid, the construction process was delayed for various reasons. The most important of these are: the attacks of Easter 2019, which resulted in lengthy road closures, which prevented people from transporting material to the construction site for months. Corona and the associated lockdown have also thrown a spanner in the works, as have extreme weather conditions.
Now, in 2021, the school is finally ready and in use. The construction of the new pre-school in Mulankavil was realized by Havonos OMI, Wilde Ganzen and Stichting Een Helpende Hand (SEHH).
