Initially, after the tsunami of December 2004, with the foundation Havonos we focused entirely on relief in Nilaveli and surroundings, in the east of Sri Lanka. After the tsunami there were many people in this region who received little relief and were deprived of assistance and housing. There was a great shortage of food, clean water, medicines and also stuff for the normal daily care, such as clothing and soap.
