For many years Havonos supports the work of the Good Shepherd Sisters led by Sister Chrishani. Since a few years Sister Chrishani takes care of approximately 50 orphan girls aged 5 to 18 years, accommodated in Anna's Home for Children. Befriended colleagues visited this home and what they saw was indescribable.

Meanwhile, Anna's Home for Children changed beyond recognition. The main building has been renovated, the kitchen has been rebuilt, and the complex has proper sanitary facilities. The girls can now grow up in a safe environment. Anna's Home for Children runs completely on donations. The government's contribution is limited to € 2.50 per child per month.
