One of our first projects was the setting up in Nilaveli of a sewing school for (young) widows with or without children, in order to give them an outlook of a better life and to overcome the trauma of the war.
Different groups of women have successfully completed the training and proudly received their diploma. The goal was to enable the women in order to provide independently for their own income.
